All of the cats living in The House of Neko were adopted from shelters - many were considered "undesirable" (by other adopters) for one reason or another. Some were traumatized kittens, not playful and afraid of humans; so nobody wanted them. They deserve to be loved too, which is why they now live at The House of Neko.
