Smokeys doctors have decided that it is better to remove the scare tissue at 3 injection sites on his back/shoulder area than risk it turning into cancer.  He has his consultation with a surgeon hopefully next week and then we will schedule the surgery for after we return from the Winn Feline Foundation Symposium in Chicago.  To say we are not nervous would be a lie.  It is also not fun subjecting Smokey to more medical stuff.  But he is a Tuff Little Man and will make it through this bump like he has all the others.
