In october of last year we found out our baby Sabrina had Wet FIP, they said there was no cure besides the black market but we were lost with where to go from there. She was put on steroids and one morning i woke up to feed her and she passed away in her sleep. She was my best friend and she was such a good baby. Her best friends were two orange tabby's, Retsuko and Whiskers. Retsuko started to show signs of it in December so we took her and they wanted so much money out of us to run tests but knew exactly what it was almost immediately. We went home and decided to try to see if we could find something, we tried to order mutian for her. It was the holidays and it didn't come in fast enough even with 1-2 day shipping. She fought so much the entire time and you could tell she was in pain but she was happy we were there with her through it. She died in me and my boyfriends arm on December 27,2020 at 10:00 am. We went to get her cremated so we could have her with us forever, even sabrina. Her and her brother, Whiskers, were inseparable. One day he started stumbling over his back legs and he was spazzing out about it. They were bad for the first few days but they went away, he still has a hard time jumping onto things without struggling or falling, but he's trying. We didn't take him to the vet because we know exactly what it is at this point and we aren't second guessing it, we rather have some money for treatment and get him better rather than risk losing him because we have no money because of an expensive vet visit that'll do nothing for us but only confirm it more. We gave him the mutian that was meant for retsuko but that wasn't much, they're stupid expensive, so it's hard with ordering mutian.  Whiskers has neuro and ocular, his eye has the orange/brown with red look to it and he squints it a lot. His sister, pumpkin,is also very inseparable with him. She's been showing signs of it too. An admin reached out to us and found a somewhat cheaper route, and now it's just coming up with the money at this point to get them both healthy again.  I'm seven months pregnant and we're having to move soon for a bigger spot for everyone, especially when the baby comes and so it's very stressful for us especially because i'm not working and he just got off of bad hours because of the holidays. i just don't want to risk losing more, i would like for Baby Sabrina (named after our cat that passed away) to be able to meet all of our fur babies and love them as much as we do.
