Tippy Bear came into our lives 5 years ago when he was 2 weeks old abandoned by his mom in our backyard. Tippy & his 4 siblings had severe URI's that needed months of treatments & became the loves of our lives. We've even been talked into fostering since we've been told they never met cats as friendly as ours. Our crew will greet a stranger like family with hugs & kisses.  2 weeks ago our lives took a hard hit when we noticed Tippy was not acting right. We immediately took him to the local animal hospital & we were given the grave news..Suspected FIP. We were told if we wanted Tippy to make it until morning we had to rush his to a specialist in Chicago for further treatments including a blood transfusion. Tippy spent 4 nights in the ICU while we slept in our van in the parking lot. Medvet confirmed our worst nightmare that Tippy had Wet FIP. He has started treatment but now he needs his "family" to help him. We are also dealing with the very real possibility of my hubby losing our only income at the end of the month so anything will help.
