FIP Warrior:

Rosie

A little about Rosie, my first JCAPL foster litter in June 2020 was a litter of 4 adorable grey tabbies, one of which was a snuggly little princess. Needless to say, that was a foster fail and her name is Rosie. She is now ~8 months old. She was diagnosed with neuro FIP. She's had a rough month+: in the emergency vet for 12 hours with a fever of 104.5, another vet visit to change up her antibiotics, a few good days, then 7 or 8 seizure episodes, then right back to the vet to have more testing done and changing up her medicine once again (and yet another high fever of 105). Her test came back positive for being exposed to FIP antibodies. During these weeks she developed a wobbly walk and a very cloudy left eye, as well as no interest in eating (all of which are symptoms of the neuro FIP). The lady with the Antech Lab spoke with my veterinarian and said I could look into the FIP Warriors group on Facebook and research the GS FIP 84-day treatment. Needless to say, I will do anything in the world for my cats as they are my babies. I found a local supply of the GS treatment. At the very beginning of the treatment, Rosie was to the point I was having to try to syringe-feed her. Today, Rosie is on Day 17 of treatment and she is doing very well!! In about 2 weeks we will go back to the vet to get updated bloodwork to see if we are headed in the right direction.
