Phoebe is my beloved 2 year old cat that I adopted 9 months ago from the non-profit animal rescue I volunteer for. She is the sweetest, most gentle cat I have ever known. A few weeks ago she began sneezing and stopped eating. Now she has developed fluid in her kidneys and neurological weakness in her back legs. After several antibiotics, multiple blood tests and an ultrasound she was diagnosed with FIP, a rare and fatal disease. There is no official treatment for the disease, but there is an experimental drug that has shown success in other cats. I have already started her on this treatment but the overall cost will be around $4500, so if anyone is able to help out at all that would be extremely appreciated.
