FIP Warrior:

Octavia

This is my baby girl Octavia. She has been  confirmed of having FIP, It’s normally a fatal disease within cats. However, there is a medicine that has been proven to help with and even cure this horrible disease. It’s fairly new and she would need 350 mg of the medicine per day. I hate that I even have to ask for help however I am coming to the end of what I can do by myself. I don’t want to lose her. The total amount of the medicine would be over $5000. In the last month alone for medicine and Vet Bills I have already put in around $2000. We can buy the medicine in smaller doses instead of the whole all at once. I’m only looking to save my baby here and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mutian is 84 days of meds.
It is recommended that she takes 350mg worth of tablets once a day to save her life

4- 200 mg 20 pack = $2,560
4- 200 mg single pill = $128
4- 100 mg 20 pack = $1,280
4 - 100mg single pills = $64
4 - 50 mg 20 pack = $640
4- 50 mg single pills = $32
Total = $4704 plus shipping

It all started the day I saw her picture of a kitten that was the end to me owning my own Heart. The breeder had actually already sold this girl to a lady in Canada. That is the first time my heart broke for this baby. As luck would have it I saw her when COVID started and the lady couldn’t get into the country. So the breeder and the person who originally purchased her agreed to me becoming her mommy.

Octavia when I brought her home was so full of life and had such a Charisma about her. She was the perfect fit for our family. Few months went by and we noticed that she look like she was losing weight she became very lethargic she wasn’t playing she wasn’t even moving on a day today day basis. That’s what I did the first emergency vet visit. They did x-rays they did an any a biotic because they thought she was just sick. They would not do any bloodwork at my request for them to do bloodwork. The vet had been in the business for 60 years and when we went back for her check up he would not listen to me that horizon changed. Two days into the second round of antibiotics I called my normal vet because they were out of town for the emergency and got her an emergency appointment there.The first thing I did was ask for blood tests which were ran they discussed FIP Did an ultrasound of her bellyAnd said there was no liquid in there. Did 20 days of a different antibiotic and this vet check the pressure in her eyes when I was really low the other I was really high in pressure. We started a drop in each eye for 10 days which started to clear things up. Into her second round of antibiotics again and SaturdayOctober 17 we were back at the vets and she was back down to 3.8 pounds went home with a steroid. Sunday, October 18 she was down to 3.6 pounds went and got emergency medicine for FIP. I am financially just making it and was blessed to have her to begin with and I can’t lose my heart completely.
