Nugget was diagnosed with Neuro Ocular Dry FIP. Before we started treatment she last almost all function in her back legs. She wouldn’t move from our closet. She didn’t eat or drink, even if we brought the bowls to her. We started using GS, syringe feeding, and providing an IV fluid. About 3 days into treatment she began walking again. She was still very unsteady, but was able to get around for the most part. She began eating on her own again by the end of the first week. Almost all signs of neurological damage had vanished by the end of week 2. Her eye is still a little messed up, and we believe it may not heal anymore. But she has a wonderful life again. She’s eating, drinking, running, and playing. She’s back to her old self.
