FIP Warrior:

Mookie

I adopted Mookie on November 2, 2019. A beautiful kitten with eyes that shine like you wouldn’t believe. I remember a lady who was looking at a kitten next to us said “black cats are bad luck.” I signed the papers and took him home. He was greeted with love by my other 2 fur babies, Teddy and Grady. They played and cleaned each other, snuggled and wrestled. In June of 2020 Mookie began to gain a lot of weight. I changed his food, encouraged him to play more and was sure he stayed hydrated. In early October of 2020, Mookie stopped eating. I brought him to the Veterinarian and they diagnosed him with FIP. I searched sleeplessly for a cure and mentally for a reason as to why this Was happening. I finally came across FIP Warriors. I began treatment ASAP, but unfortunately, it was too late.
On October 24, 2020 at just 1 year old, Mookie passed away peacefully in my arms.
He was a strong boy.. he fought and loved with all of his being. I miss him every single day and continue to love him with my whole heart.
