Hello everyone! My name is Miau, and I am a 3 years old male cat. I have been a fighter since I was a baby and I've already won one of life's greatest battles, surviving the very first weeks of life, alone, after being rejected by my birth mother! Thanks to my strength and willingness to live, and to my human family's support and care, I grew up to be this beautiful and happy big cat! But lately I haven't been very lucky.

I've fallen ill some weeks ago ... and nobody knew for sure what was the matter with me. I did several clinical exams and analyzes, and meanwhile I was hospitalized due to my labored breathing.

The diagnosis came later, and had left me and my family devastated! Besides having tested Positive for FELV, I was also diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a very serious and deadly disease caused by a rare mutation in the Feline Corona Virus. But luckily a treatment came up that can save me! This treatment has had a high success rate, however, it is extremely expensive and my family cannot afford it!

As if this wasn't bad enough already, I still managed to be even more "lucky" to have one of the most severe forms of the disease, Pleural and Ocular FIP, and I will need a higher dosage, which means more vials, and higher costs. Each vial costs around 70 € and I will need at least 45!

Knowing that this treatment exists, neither I nor my family will give up to try! I never did, and my family will try everything they can to help me win this new battle! If there is hope, we run after it! Together, I will be able to win again!
