Loki was diagnosed with suspected dry FIP when he was 2.5 years old. Like many cat owners we had never heard of it before and tried all we could to help him. After 2 months of medication, trips to the vet and lots of tears we said goodbye to our gorgeous boy in July 2018. It was the kindest thing we could do as he wasn’t enjoying the things he loved anymore; food, toys, mice & even cuddles. We wish we could go back to a time when we’d never heard the words FIP but we can’t... our hearts break every day as he was our first and only pet but we do what we can to help raise awareness and find a cure to this terrible disease.
