Kent was brought into a cat rescue along with his mama and siblings when he was 10 days old. Everyone in the family did well until roughly three months old when three of his siblings died of FIP. Can't begin to have a distended abdomen so was taken to the vet where it was confirmed that he had fluid in his abdomen consistent with FIP. His foster mom did some research and found some information on treatment. Determined not to lose another kitten to FIP, the decision was made by the foster mom to start him on treatment.  His foster mom is paying for his treatment out of her own pocket since the rescue did not have any extra money to spend for the treatment.

Kent has received eight doses of Shire and all of his abdominal fluid has been reabsorbed and he is acting like a normal kitten.
