We adopted Jack after a wildly expensive and emotionally devastating pet year in which we lost one of our kitties to recurrent urethral obstructions after an expensive hail mary surgery and had another cat need radiation.  He was supposed to be our emotional balm, the kitten to help our children and family heal over what had been the most difficult year of pet ownership we'd ever had.  Instead, shortly after adoption, our Jack fell ill with Effusive (wet) FIP and was not expected to make it to Christmas 2019.  

We despaired over the diagnosis, but found the FIP Warriors group.  After agonizing over the decision and cost, we ultimately decided to give him his own hail mary treatment.  He responded right away and is thriving- we have hope that he will beat this!  However, when added to the costs of our two previous cat emergencies, we are rounding in to $20,000 of pet bills since March 2019 and could really use your help.  No amount is too small and we will be eternally grateful for your assistance.
