FIP Warrior:

Hoss

Hi! My name is Kim and I have always cared for animals, in some way or another, over my lifetime. I have been fostering kittens for over 13 years now. I have been fostering off and on with Safe Animal Shelter for the past 3+ years. This year alone, I have fostered almost 40 kittens. I also rehab wildlife through Wildlife Rescue Coalition. My plate and my heart are always full. After some convincing, I even created a Facebook page called Kim's Critter Crusades, so people could keep up with the rescues that I care for. Last week, I got a call saying our sweet Hoss, that we pre-adopted, has the wet form of FIP (Effusive Feline Infectious Peritonitis). FIP is deadly without the costly treatment so, the vet suggested euthanizing him, Hoss is still acting normal and happy so I couldn't see myself putting him down. I joined the FIP Warriors group on Facebook and am planning to fight for Hoss' little life and I need your help! Hoss is only 9 weeks old and is the sweetest kitty every! He constantly follows me around and always wants me to hold him while he rests on my chest and nibbles on my fingers. He absolutely loves to cuddle and play with his pups and kitty friends. I have NEVER dealt with this with all if the cats and kittens I've had in my life. I can't even fathom saying goodbye to him so soon. Testing and vet bills have added up to over $400 already. He will need additional vet visits, labs, and meds to fight this horrible sickness. I believe Hoss is worth every penny though! If you are able, please help me in my best efforts to save Hoss by donating financially, sharing this GoFundMe, and praying. If for some reason he does not make it, all of the money will go to help other babies I foster and rehab. I'm heartbroken right now, but trying my best to stay positive and calm for Hoss. Thank you so much for your prayers and support!
