FIP Warrior:

Holie

Holie was adopted from a shelter in july 2019. In september, she was 6 months old, she was not playing anymore, was anormally calm. She had fever. The vet initially told me ot was a simple virus and to come back of the situation was not improving. A week later, she had a big belly, was not eating anymore and had a strange behavior when touched in the back (it was hyperesthesia). As the situation was not improving after a dewormer, I started some investigations online and found some articles avout FIP. Everything became clear, every symptoms she had was explained. In the same time, I found the article of dr Pederden about GS441524 and was on Gilead's website trying to order! I saw then an article from you "Zen by cat" explaining the situation about the treatment and telling to contact a facebook group called FIP warriors. Everything has been fast after that. The diagnosis was confirmed the next day with a deep anemia at 11 am, and at 12 we took our decision to try and were on the road for 8 hours in total to retrieve 1 bottle of GS. After a week we had to increase the dosage because she has a neuroFip ( with ataxia and hyperesthesia). We had highs and lows (the first two weeks), it was not easy to inject her every evening for a little more than two months but we did it. She was getting better and gaining weight so fast that we could not give up. The post treatment period was very stressful but now she is cured since nearly two years and incredibly fine. She has forgiven us for all the injections and is the swetest cat. I write this today to say thank you to Dr Perdersen whose scientific straightness convinced me to try, thank you to "Zen by cat" for giving me hope and solution at the critical moment, and thank you to Fip warriors France for their precious help and advices
