FIP Warrior:

Heidi and Otto

I have two brave FIP warriors,  Heidi and Otto, both on GS.
Heidi was diagnosed with neuro/ocular FIP 5 days before she started the GS treatment. She had lost weight, didn't eat at all, she was force fed, very lethargic, with eye symptoms and abdominal fluid. She was at the death door. After only two doses of Shire Heidi began eating again and by the third week all the symptoms were gone. Her eyes cleared, belly fluid was gone, her appetite came back and wad playful and naughty again. She gained 1.5 kg by now.
When Heidi was in the middle of the treatment my other cat Otto stopped eating . That was the  only symptom that made us suspect of FIP and the bloodwork confirmed it. Belly fluid also appeared. We started the treatment immediately and three days after Otto was eating again and being himself.

Only two days before graduation (84th injection) Heidi's bloodwork got worse, her globulins went up and A/G ratio went down. That same week she got a nasty sore on her back and she got antibiotic. We continued the treatment and repeated the bloodwork a week after. The globulins went again a bit up. That day we swiched to the maximum dose of 10 ml/kg.  After a week on the maximum dose her bloodwork is finally normal and globulins fell down. We hope that the next week bloodwork will be ok again and she'll finally graduate.
Otto is doing fine during the treatment . He has 5 weeks more and I really hope he'll graduate in time.
Costs of the treatment are extremely high for both of them.  Heidi has maximum dose and Otto is a bit cat, so his dose is also high. One bottle per day for both of them. I'm completely exhausted financially and emotionally.
Any donation, even the smallest amount means a lot.
Hope my two fur babies will be cured and continue making our family complete.. there's nothing we wouldn't do to save them.

Sending our love to all the brave worriors around the world and to their loving parents.
