FIP Warrior:

Eevee

We adopted Eevee in late June and were told she was about 2.5 to 3 months old, and weighed 2.7 lbs. She was very tiny and had been treated for a URI. After I got her home she continued to stay sick. After many tests and multiple treatments, she began exhibiting difficulties breathing. X-rays revealed suspected pneumonia due to fluid in her lungs, but she also has an enlarged liver. We were told if she doesn't respond to antibiotics, then FIP is the likely diagnosis. I got a final ultrasound a week after this bad news and we were hit with even more bad news. She does have FIP. We are starting treatment for FIP, which is a very long and expensive road, about 3 months worth of shots, but she's almost a third of the way there and doing so much better! She's gained 3 lbs in 1 month! Please keep kittens like Eevee in your heart and consider donating to help our cause 🖤
