FIP Warrior:

Ducky

Ducky is a 7 month old cat I adopted from my local SPCA in February of 2020. I couldn’t pass him up because he had been in shelters most of his life and most people didn’t like him for his little eyelid defect. It didn’t bother me any, actually I thought he was adorable and had so much personality. Originally, he would run and play, but slowly we noticed him not wanting to eat,  move, and was losing weight fast. He also became neurological, and after 4 vet appointments and an emergency ultrasound they found fluid near his kidneys and diagnosed him with neuro/wet FIP. I have already spent so much money on his diagnosis and failed vet visits/treatments that I just cannot afford the cost of the treatment for FIP on my own. As many know, it is very very expensive. Ducky deserves a fighting chance and he’s already improved just a few days into treatment. Now he’s playing again, has gained a little weight, and his neurological symptoms are slowly getting better. Any amount would really help me save him!
