Darla

This is Darla
We arrived in the Us a little over a year ago to start out new life. Getting back on our feet was a little more challenging than what we anticipated. Husband found employment in January 2020, then the pandemic hit, his work was closed for 3 months. June 2020 he could start work again and we we’re well on our way to getting our lives together. September we decided to adopt a rescue kitty. The happiest day if our lives in a year, she was 7 months old when we got her. The sweetest little thing and the biggest joy. December she started with labored breathing, that’s when we started racking up vet bills after 2 months and spending thousands of $ on vets and tests, changing vet for the 3rd time she was Diagnosed on 8 February 2021 with FIP. The vet said there is nothing we can do. But we were not going to give up. I searched for a week and found the treatment. We started the treatment soon after not knowing where we would get the funds from. And then the snow storm hit Texas. We were hit hard, water leaks, ceilings completely gone. We have lost most of our clothes, some appliances and food that got wet and some that got spoiled because if power outage.
My main priority during the storm was keeping Darla warm and dry during -10 degrees.
We desperately need help funding Darla’s treatment. Donations of any size would be much appreciated.
