FIP Warrior:

Clyde

Clyde was one of a litter of five kittens that I was asked to foster. There was something special about the orange bundle of fur.  He was so playful, until one day he wasn’t. We took him to the doctor... they ran test after test, nobody could figure it out. He tested negative for coronavirus, which we thought ruled out FIP.  We didn’t realize that in a small percentage of dry FIP cases,
They test negative for coronavirus. So we went to supportive care IV, steroids,  the whole nine...but he was just too little to fight.  He passed away in my arms the day he told me his fight was over.  That is a day I will never forget!  I became a strong advocate for any FIP treatment that will save these babies!
