Butter was diagnosed to wet FIP after about three weeks of being extremely ill. We first noticed him stop eating which was not like him as he was once 20lbs. He was running a 104.5 fever and never got up. We knew we had to act fast to find our what we going on. We had never heard of FIP until we did our own research and got a second vets opinion where she immediatly told this is was she suspected and it was a death sentence. We couldn't settle with that answer so we stayed up all night trying to find something. Then, we did. He was holding on to life until we found treatment! He is only on day three but has showed remarkable signs of recovery. We get to finally have his personality back after a long month of illness. We know we aren't in the clear and its going to be a long 84 days but we are so thankful for our support groups. I would have never known what to do to save our kitty's life if it wasn't for zenbycat!
