FIP Warrior:

Brunella

Hi everyone❤️. This gorgeous 6-month-old sweetie is Brunella, our kitten. She is suffering from a terrible disease: FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). The only cure that exists is an experimental treatment. A long (12 weeks = 84 days), painful and very expensive therapy with injections, but effective in 90/95% of cases! We started the treatment asap. Unfortunately, we have already paid more than we expected and we have been left alone for a long time😔. We are having a hard time in proceeding with the therapy. PLEASE help us save our love, even a small contribution or a sharing can make a difference!🙏❤️

BRUNY'S STORY
Brunella (also called Nana), a little black panther with a white bib and nose, entered our life on 10/30/20 at a month and a half. She was the only survivor of her litter and her mother had disowned her after a few weeks. She weighed 500 grams, she was (and is) small but with a nice temper and also very sweet...At the beginning of February she starts to have a persistent high fever, she doesn't eat anymore and her backbone can be seen, she is lethargic and doesn't play anymore. One night we run worried to the vet who removes about 80 ml of liquid from her abdomen: according to him Brunella has FIP. She tells us that there is no cure and that she will die soon...our hearts are in a thousand pieces, we burst into desperate tears and in the meantime we give her cortisone and syringable food. In the meantime, in a Facebook group, some wonderful people tell me about this trial treatment: we do not hesitate a moment and start to get informed, even if we know that this will mean making many sacrifices. Days of phone calls and sleepless nights looking for a glimmer of hope, when exactly one week later, after analyzing the liquid, the diagnosis arrives. Brunella suffers from FIP. We immediately started the treatment and now here we are. The road is long and tiring but Brunella is strong and we are full of hope! ❤️
