Recently my 5 month old little girl kitty has been diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). This is a disease that until recently has been considered 100% fatal. There is a drug that has seen great success in curing this terrible disease but it is not cheap. We are only a few days into it, but all in the treatment itself could run around $3,000. Currently our vet bills alone are up to $3,500 as she has had to make many trips to the emergency vet to administer fluids and vitamins since she has completely stopped eating and needs to be syringe fed every meal. We are only 5 days into the drug trial and I am not going to give up on her. She is my baby and I will do everything I possibly can to help her. I am desperate to get her through these hospital stays and give her enough time for the medicine to start working. It is extremely uncomfortable for me to be asking, but if anyone can spare anything at all to help it would be greatly appreciated, every little bit would help.
