In January, our sweet tortie kitty was having trouble breathing - she was mouth-breathing like a dog does, which is NOT normal. We took her to the vet - 50% of her lungs were full of fluid, and after bloodwork the vet diagnosed her with FIP. They directed us to FIP Warriors and learned - literally while we were in the office - that there was a new drug available to treat FIP. We got in touch with the pharmacy right away and she began treatment two days after diagnosis. Within 24 hours she was back to her normal self again, acting like a normal happy healthy kitty. We kept up on the meds and she is now at day 82, with an "all clear" to begin observation after day 84. Every morning she would zip up to the counter and knock over her medicine bottle, grab the Churu, and wait impatiently. She heard me say "medicine" just last night and did the same thing, even though it wasn't medicine time. Our kitty associates "medicine" with Churu now and it's seriously adorable. She's the happiest kitty in the world now and I am so thankful to our vet and VIP Warriors for helping us get through this to give her the best life possible.
