We adopted Mats three weeks ago from an animal shelter. He was found as astray when he was six weeks old, along with his siblings and mom. He is an incredibly cuddly kitten and wants to be friends with everyone. Last week we noticed his belly getting swollen and he was playing less. The vet found that he had a fever and gave him antibiotics but that didn’t work. From an ultrasound the vet saw that there was fluid in his belly and later confirmed that Mats has fip. We have now started the treatment but it is very expensive so we are trying to raise money to be able to keep making the payments for his treatment.
