Pimp (short for Big Pimpin’) is a rescue cat who has been with us for 2 years now. He got diagnosed with diabetes a couple of months back and, most recently, got diagnosed with FIP, or feline infectious peritonitis, after finding his belly was full of fluid and he had little appetite. He was doing well until yesterday, when he was urgently brought to the vet in a bit of respiratory distress and the fluid had spread into his lungs. He is on day 6 of FIP treatment, and the fluid should start to resolve around day 10-14. We are trying to get him there, but finances are now becoming the biggest burden. Kayleigh works very hard to give him everything he needs, but at this point, help is needed. We hope to get Pimp to the other side of this.
