FIP Warrior:

Oakley

I decided to get a kitten after loosing my 3 elderly cats. The second I saw Oakley, I knew he was the one. When I brought him home, he was instantly best friends with my remaining elderly cat and my dog. I noticed he wasn’t quite as playful as a normal kitten, but he’s a ragdoll and I was told he would be calm. He started “gaining weight” but eventually he stopped eating, stopped pooping and his belly was massive and hard. I took him to the vet and they did X-rays and blood work. His X-rays showed his abdomen was filled with fluids and his blood work showed he was anemic, his kidneys and liver were failing and he didn’t have long. I was told it was wet FIP. Luckily my vet informed me about FIP warriors. We started treatment the next day. Within 24 hours, Oakley looked so much better. He went from being hours away from death to eating and playing. I am so thankful. Unfortunately the medication is very costly so I am relying on donations. But hopefully with more time, this medication will be more affordable! Oakley is more than just a cat, he’s family. He’s my baby. I can’t imagine life without him.
