FIP Warrior:

Luna

Hi, our names are David & Christiana. Our kitty's name is Luna! Luna is just over 1 year old and is a major part of our life. Luna is not just a cat to us, she is family. She has brought so much joy, happiness, and love to our lives. We adopted her when she was just 2 months old!

Unfortunately Luna was diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) in July of 2022. This disease is almost always fatal without treatment. Fortunately there is a treatment out there that has over a 90% success rate. The treatment is very expensive and sometimes hard to obtain.

Luna was scheduled for euthanasia on 7/19. We canceled her euthanasia to try our very best to help her live a long, happy, fun, and comfortable life. The way life for a cat should be lived. We were able to obtain our first vial of medication for free and have already given her 3 injections out of the 12 week treatment!!!

Unfortunately the cost of this treatment is far too much for us to bear. But we are committed to try to make it work.

FIP is very close to our hearts because in March of 2020 our sweetheart cat, Ginny, was diagnosed and unfortunately had to be euthanized. This left us traumatized and utterly heartbroken. There were little options for us at the time. We would have done anything to save her if we could have. This is why we want to give Luna a chance at life.

Luna is our world. She is our family. She is an innocent animal suffering from this terrible disease. By donating, you will help us obtain treatment medication for Luna. You will quite literally save her life.

We are so very grateful for all that have reached out to us privately and donated out of the kindness of their hearts. If you cannot donate, please know that you support to us and effort to spread awareness of this cure and of this disease is more than we could ever ask for. ❤️
