Smokey had a long but ultimately, very good day. His surgery lasted a bit over 2 hrs and he has three layers of stitches down his back but, everything went great and he is expected to make a full recovery. So here are pictures from today, from drop off at hospital through his surgery and first meal at home and finally sleep. But not before climbing around his cage like a mad cat, ignoring the doctors orders to not move around a lot:). Thank you to all who sent well wishes for Smokey.
