FIP Warrior:

Spookie

Spookie's original owner took her and dumped her but failed to remember she was Microchiped. So a friend feeds feral cats by her house it was winter of 2022 bad storms. Spookie showed up she was a little afraid of people her trust needed to be earned. Spookie ended up with bad upper respiratory issues. So finally our friend got her to come in. Worked with her enough to get her to a vet. She got her meds and they Microchip scanned her. Our friend contacted the company a month later the owner contacted our friend. And said she didn't want Spookie owner gave all paper work and Spookies name and actual birth date because they had her since she was born. But our friend was not able to keep Spookie so I took her. She is such a loving cat. Three months after having her she seemed sick we went to the vet. If it wasn't for the fluid in the belly we wouldn't of know it was FIP. Because her blood work wasn't to off. As soon as we found out she had FIP we contacted FIP Warriors advised by our vet. It was a challenge because Spookie wasn't very sick so giving shots even with Gapapentin was hard. But we got through it with the help of our vet and his staff. FIP Warriors are amazing and so wonderful. They were with us from day one of contact. And we will be forever thankful. On October 31,2023 Spookie was diagnosed with FIP on April 25, 2024 she was cured.
